Job Title: Welder/ Fabricator
Location: Bellaghy, Co. Derry
Hours of Employment: Optional 4 or 5 day week

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Setting up the components for the welding process as per welding specifications
• Reading drawings and blueprints and taking detailed measurements to plan the project layout
• Cutting and joining material
• Using power and handheld tools
• Producing high quality standards of welding and fabrication
• Setting up, adjusting and operating welding units, equipment, and power tools.
• Adhere to company Health and Safety guidelines

Experience & Skills

• Previous welding or fabrication experience is necessary
• Ability to read drawings
• Must have a good understanding of the engineering industry
• Previous welding in heavy engineering is desirable, however not essential
• Excellent time and attendance record
• Be a good team player and have the ability to use your own initiative
