What Is ISO 9001?

Officially, it means that a certification body or registrar, that is accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB), has audited the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) of a company, and has certified it reaches the ISO 9001:2015 QMS Standard.

In plain English, it means that a third party has looked at an organisation’s quality management control systems and certified that it meets the high standards set by the board. This is an on-going process that is reviewed every three years. When you see that a company is ISO 9001 Certified or Registered, it means the same thing. The company adheres to high quality standards that have been verified by a third party.

While we have always been comfortable with our standards, using the official certification logo tells the world that we have achieved these levels of quality as viewed by an unbiased source.
